The Muslims: Who Controls us
by Munawar Merchant
Very briefly put we are controlled by Western interests and our own fanatics. They are diverse as night and day yet they need each other. How? — one may ask. The Western interests basically spurned by Christianity and Catholicism have a morbid fear about Islam. They are convinced, and perhaps rightly so, that if Islam prevails it will rob the pomp and pageantry of Christianity and Catholicism. So they need to incite the masses to go against Islam and what better way than to point out the dangers to the world about the terrorism of Muslim fanatics.
Islam is a religion and doctrine of peace there is no doubt about. And most Muslims are convinced by it. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. The assertion is merely made to make us feel better. Otherwise how does one explain the terrorism of Muslim extremists everywhere? What do the silent Muslim majority do? The answer is nothing because the extremists have used the venom of “the western interests against Muslims” to defuse any opposition the law abiding Muslim majority may have against them. The fact remains that the Muslim world population is controlled by the extremists and terrorists who often use religious propaganda to further their cause. This is for sure true as things stand now.
I have demonstrated how Christian fundamentalists serving the western interests and Muslims terrorists need each other. So do we need terrorists to speak for us? One would hope not. There is nothing noble about suicide bombers taking innocent lives. They are not much better than the stealth bombers employed by the satanic yanks. What do we get out of condoning the jihadists? The question may be found in the statement of a man whose family was German aristocrat prior to World War II. The answer he gave to the question as to how many German people were true Nazis should serve as a guide to us in our attitude toward the fanatics who rule Islam today. The man said: “Very few people were true Nazi, but many enjoyed the return of the German pride and many more were too busy to care.
So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they [the Nazis] owned us.” The rest is history as evident by the destruction of the Third Reich.
But one cannot blame the Muslims alone. Blame equally lies with others such as Christian fanatics and Zionists who intentionally seek every opportunity to ascribe all ills to Islamists and Muslims. If the reign of world terror were to end it would only be if the silent majority of Muslims, Christians, and Jews decided to put an end to this abysmal chaos and unnecessary bloodshed.
Check out the Similarities
I am calling on our Muslim brothers and sisters to check the following web site of the Mormon
Church, to check the similarities between their believes and the believes of Islam. www.Mormon.org.
Thank You.

Muslims Must Tackle Extremism by Abubakar N. Kasim
Muslim leaders hardly ever discuss the problem of extremism and fanaticism and the great damage and negative impact it could have on Islamic community and the humanity at large. It is like fire which destroys everything that it comes in contact with. The effect of extremism is far more dangerous than fire itself as fire could be easily contained while it is not an easy thing to extinguish the flames of hate that comes out from extremists.
Many Muslims pretend that it does not exist and all Muslims are good and loving beings who will go to heaven and live there happily ever after.
The media presume that it is a “Muslim” problem while in reality every other community – be it religious or otherwise – do suffer from this illness as well and have mad men in their midst who act wildly and cross all boundaries and limits.
There are people who have lost their sanity and believe that they are the only chosen children of God. They are among the main obstacles to peace in Palestine as they strongly
believe that the land is theirs for good and its ownership is guaranteed by God himself.
The Lord’s Resistance Army which is a sectarian guerrilla army based in northern Uganda which was formed in 1987 is one example of extremists within the world of Christianity. This group as it was recently reported by the CBC Radio, As It Happens, has been accused of widespread human rights violations, including murder, abduction, mutilation, sexual enslavement of women and children, and forcing children to participate in hostilities.
Extremism is not only the side effect of religion. Even those who do not believe in religion do suffer from the sickness. You would see atheists who try to force their way of thinking down people’s throats by attacking religion vehemently and by recently putting ads on public buses in Europe and North America about the non-existence of God.
I used to hear people from Afghanistan crying from the sufferings that they have gone through from the Taliban when they were ruling the country. These hard core fanatics were ruling the war torn country with an iron fist. They believed that they were the only right Muslims and everyone else was bound to hell.
I used to dismiss the reports of abuse and human rights violations coming from that country as part of media’s propaganda against Islam. My perception however has dramatically
changed after hearing horrific news coming from the southern part of Somalia from a group that is known as the African Taliban.
The people of my city which is known as Barawa located about 500 km south of Mogadishu is currently been occupied by a vicious group known as Shabab which means the
youth. These fanatics are committing crimes against the peaceful people of the town and considering them as Muslims Must Tackle Extremism not “real and pure Muslims.”
They have not only attacked the living but also the dead by digging their graves and throwing out their remains. I was devastated to hear this especially to happen to people like my own who have not harmed anyone and are known throughout history as peaceful, hardworking, religious and also generous. The news of horrific abuse that is reaching me from my town has made me look at the problem of extremism differently. I will no longer avoid it but will tackle it with whatever means I have. I will continue speaking up against extremism and I hope that this cancer will one day be rooted out not only from Muslims but from all other communities so that humanity will 'ive in peace, harmony and understanding.
The Forces of Nature
My “And He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses: and the Night and the Day hath He (also) made subject to you.” (14: 33) Some think that this verse means that the forces of nature have been placed under the control of man.
Such an assumption leads people to develop a variety of odd ideas. Some even go so far as to say that to achieve mastery over the heavens and the earth is the true end of man’s existence.
Almost all classical commentators agree that God’s having made the natural phenomena ‘subservient’ to man is a metaphor for His having enabled man to derive lasting benefit from them. God has bound them to laws which are beneficial for mankind. Had sailing in the sea not been subject to any law, it would not have been possible for man to undertake sea voyages. Had the rivers not been subject to any laws, man could not have used them for irrigation. Likewise, had the sun, the moon, the day and the night not been regulated, there could have been no life on earth, let alone any flourishing human civilization.
